Hannah Nielsen, LMFT

Hannah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a spouse of an Army veteran. Hannah is passionate about helping couples build a safe and strong foundation through understanding each other better and developing relationship skills to stay connected. She also works with individuals who struggle with depression and anxiety. As a spouse of an Army veteran, she can understand what military members and their families experience. Hannah earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland and her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She applies Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method couples therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy in her counseling, and is a certified Prepare & Enrich facilitator. Hannah is fluent in Korean also.

Darin Nielsen, LMFT, AAMFT Supervisor, MDIV

Darin is passionate about helping couples develop deeper bonds and working through various struggles. After almost 40 years in military service, two combat deployments and almost 30 years of counseling to Soldiers and their Families, Darin brings a wealth of training and experience to Clarksville to provide compassionate and skilled care. He uses a few of the most scientifically proven counseling theories, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman Therapy, to provide healing and changes in marriages. He is skilled at working through affairs and other difficulties with couples. As a Christian, he appropriately relies on faith principles where appropriate with clients. He especially enjoys working with Soldiers and Veterans and brings much understanding of military culture and the unique challenges faced therein.
